In our own words, the name was “thoughtfully created to reflect purposeful living, comfort, and presence—values deeply connected to the calming energy of a cat’s purr." We believe cats are not just pets but soul companions: they ground us, bring joy and calm, and help us live more mindfully. Every item we create is made with intention, reflecting “love for cats and the meaningful role they play in our lives." In practice, our mission boils down to a few core ideas:

We started Soulpurrpose not because we saw a business opportunity, but because we saw a need. We aim to address the issue of animal neglect. From day one, giving back has been our north star. In this way, our customers’ love for cats literally reaches animals in shelters or under rescue care.
This mission comes straight from our founder, Varsha, and her three beloved rescue cats. Soulpurrpose grew out of her life—a home filled with purring, playful rescues and the lessons they taught her. Varsha believes that “compassion, creativity, and conscious living can coexist beautifully," and she weaves those values into every product and decision. She sees firsthand how a cat’s unconditional love can heal and ground us. As one animal psychologist puts it, companion pets “love us unconditionally [and] can sometimes step into the role of a secure attachment figure when human supports are lacking."
